The European higher education news agency ESNA in Berlin is advertising four intern positions for the coming year. Founded in 2008, the agency offers an opportunity for young, multi-lingual interns to gain comprehensive professional experience in an international editorial team.
Eligible candidates will be university students or graduates from the subject areas of publishing, journalism, modern languages or politics who hope to complete an internship to compliment their studies. The unpaid internships, lasting between three and six months, are funded by the EU’s Erasmus and Leonardo programmes, and are approved by ECTS (the Europe-wide system of academic credits). Candidates should have very good written and spoken language skills in their native tongue and at least one other European language, a passion for journalism and a hard-working, task-oriented approach.
Interns’ duties include multi-lingual research, public relations work in an international context and precise, accurate copy-writing and translation. The internship will be relevant for future careers in the media or in international or European political organisations.
